While attending the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow, Applied CEO Trip Ferguson spoke with Aviation Week about how Applied accelerates decision velocity in the space and defense industry to get “go fast programs” into production at scale while meeting critical demands for agility and quality.
“At Applied Aerospace, we really focus on decision velocity. How do we align both speed and direction that focuses on the mission of our customers? So, when we think of how do we accelerate ‘go-fast’ programs, it’s really alignment of all of our partners, our customer and the end customer which usually is the war fighter,” Trip Ferguson, Applied Aerospace & Defense CEO. “We find that through collaboration and really the day-to-day work, we’re able to accelerate and meet these new, really kind of new unique timelines we haven’t seen in the past.”
